"Friday Funnies" Alien Biker Dude - and where are his pants? When I came across this scene in Roswell New Mexico I just had to get a photograph because I love riding motorcycles, and then I thought to myself where are his pants? It must be really cold sometimes riding this motorcycle with no pants on, Aliens must really have some thick skin because I could never do this riding through the mountains or a cold Winter day! At the heart of Las Cruces lies New Mexico State University, which was created as a land-grant institution in 1888. With over 16,000 students attending its main campus, it really does feel like a main artery feeding into Las Cruces’ life and energy. Whether your alumni from NMSU or another college, still in high school, or well into your career, you still might be curious what it’s like to be an Aggie these days. If so, check out the AggieFest next week—Aug. 18, 1-3 p.m.—for a carnival atmosphere showcasing all academic departments, students services, organizations, and clubs and campus resources. Most of the excitement will be located along the International Mall (west of Corbett Center), and the outdoor stage (east of Corbett Center).
